DentaQuest Goes Live with Healthation AboveHealth® |
Leader in Dental Programs for Government Now Offering Wide Range of Advanced Web Transactions for Enhanced Efficiency and Customer Service
Chicago, IL - September 7, 2011 - Healthation, a leading provider of payer administration systems, today announced that DentaQuest, the nation's leading administrator of government dental programs, including Medicaid, CHIP and Medicare, group and individual, has gone live for many of its lines of business on the Healthation AboveHealth® portal. The new web portal capabilities include a range of benefit, claim, authorization and customer service queries and transactions for members, employers and providers. The site is already processing between 10,000 to 13,000 transactions daily from more than 13,000 provider office users.

"The new AboveHealth web portal is a major example of how we are using technology and the Web to better serve all of our constituencies while gaining administrative efficiencies."
AboveHealth is currently supporting more than 4,000 concurrent users accessing the site at peak usage. Available information and transactions include:
- Eligibility Search with member detail
- Claim status search and detail
- Claim submission (HIPAA 837D)
- Provider self-registration and self-service
- Real time customer service and ticket management
- Find-a-Dentist directory in English and Spanish with integrated maps and directions
- Provider Explanation of Benefits with remittance inquiry and detail
- Member service history
"Using the AboveHealth portal, we are now able to offer our employers and providers the ability to securely access information and transactions from our eligibility, enrollment, claims and financial systems from a single, easy-to-use, web interface," said Ken Erdelt, DentaQuest Senior Vice President of Information Technology. "Since our go-live in July, we have seen excellent performance from the system and plan to expand into new functionality and constituencies going forward."
Next steps for the DentaQuest portal include plans to offer a wider range of real-time transactions. The portal will also be extended to support DentaQuest's commercial lines of business which will open the site to more than two million additional members.
