Healthation Announces Enhancements to AboveHealth® Portal with New Functionality for Improved Usability and Regulatory Compliance
Industry's Most Comprehensive Portal Solution Supports All Constituencies; Offers Deep Functionality to Off-load Labor-Intensive Tasks
Chicago, IL - July 6, 2010 - Healthation, a leading provider of core administrative systems for healthcare insurance payers and administrators, today announced the availability of AboveHealth® 3.70, the latest version of its integrated Web portal solution. AboveHealth is a highly-configurable Web application that provides health plans with the ability to off-load labor-intensive and costly tasks with advanced automation and self-service capabilities.
AboveHealth 3.70 offers clients a variety of enhancements that improve overall usability, offer greater customization, and adhere to regulatory compliance mandates for government insurers, including the section 508 compliance rules. Specifically, the new version of AboveHealth adds:
- Enhanced Provider Directory/Member Search: provides users with the ability to limit provider searches to practices that meet their specific policy requirements
- Claim Status Search by Submission Date: enables health plan, provider and employer users who are submitting claims on-line to search for claims using date submitted/entered date as an additional search option. Additionally, providers will now be able to look up a pre-determination claim entered during a specific time period. This additional search option has been added to coincide with associated claim submissions enhancements and allows users to locate information more quickly and efficiently
- Payment Search/Remittance Advice Search: enriches the usability of the system by enabling users to find and sort payments made on their behalf in an easy-to-use format
- Customized Welcome Page Messages: allows users to customize news and message content on the "Welcome Page" of their portal
- Foreign Language Provider Directory: satisfies federal government 508 mandates to provide support Spanish and other languages, as necessary
