MercyCare Insurance Company Selects Healthation's Web-Based AboveHealth® Health Plan, Member, and Provider Portals
Darien, IL, Feb 17, 2009 - Healthation, a leading healthcare claims and benefits software company, today announced that it has signed a five-year Software as a Service Agreement (SaaS) with MercyCare Insurance Company. MercyCare will implement AboveHealth®, the industry leading, e-business healthcare portal to deliver interactive, real-time communication, and administration capabilities to its Health Plan, Member, and Provider communities.
AboveHealth will enable MercyCare to create a more positive consumer experience while enhancing their current consumer outreach, communication, and enrollment and other administrative capabilities to its stakeholder community. The implementation of AboveHealth will allow MercyCare to interact in real time via the internet with members, providers, and plan sponsors. The Provider portal will enable healthcare professionals to interact 24 hours a day using their internet connection and web browser which gives them and their staff the ability to increase efficiency while reducing costs. The Member portal securely and efficiently supports open enrollment activities and other traditional customer facing operations lowering internal call volumes and increasing the overall efficiency of customer service operations. The Health Plan Administrator portal will enable online administration at their fingertips. They will be able to conduct an array of health plan management tasks online, including user and portal configurations, data access, permission settings, workflow design, and management as well as routine maintenance.
