PrimeWest Health Chooses Healthation's AboveHealth as Next Generation Provider Portal

DARIEN, Ill., Feb. 12, 2008 /PRNewswire/ - Darien, IL-based Healthation announced PrimeWest Health of Alexandria, MN has selected its AboveHealth(R) Provider Portal to deliver interactive self-service capabilities to its provider community. Important to PrimeWest's decision was a proven track record of integrating with the plan's existing claim system and the ability for providers to submit claims directly through the provider portal.

The AboveHealth solution is a tightly integrated suite of Web portals designed to give healthcare payers a platform for building and maintaining electronic relationships with members, employers, providers and brokers. The solution is designed to integrate with a payer's existing claims processing and business systems infrastructure through a variety of techniques including real time Web Services, single sign-on and a proprietary engine that maps payer system interfaces to standardized transaction sets.
