Software Engineer
Summary
The Software Engineer position is a senior level engineering position that shares responsibility for developing, updating and maintaining computer applications, information technology, communication and office systems issues within the company and IT/IS department. The SE III will also design new product functions, will share responsibility for full code review on junior and mid level SE's and when appropriate, will serve as a Team Lead on client implementations.
The Software Engineer will be responsible to:
- Develop and maintain Healthation software applications and product sub-systems based upon technical specifications and direction from supervising engineer.
- Produce supplemental technical design and development specifications for systems and enhancements in order to fulfill internal user and external customer requests.
- Prepare and deliver periodic and ad-hoc verbal and written status and time allocation reports for management or team-leader
- Must have direct communication with Healthation Business Analysts, as assigned per project, to ensure timely coordinated efforts are maintained for overall project success.
- Primary responsibilities will be on benchmarking Healthation application systems, intermediate-level architecture review and design, release and build coordination, code review and resource management.
Experience
4-6 years of experience and proven working knowledge of SQL Server 2000, XML, XSLT, Java, Oracle and Active Server Pages, the Microsoft Office productivity suite of products and Microsoft Development Environments.
