Company Background
Healthation is a Chicago-area technology company founded in 2002 to help healthcare Payers and Administrators accelerate their business by optimizing and taking charge of their benefits management processes. The founders combined their 60 years of healthcare IT experience developing, delivering and supporting real-time pharmacy benefit systems to build a fundamentally different solution capable of administering any benefit in real-time.
On June 30th, 2006, we finalized our merger with San Diego, CA based Verilet, Inc. Since 2001, Verilet has been producing and marketing the industry leading Abovehealth® eHealth Self-Service Web portal solution to the commercial and dental healthcare insurance industries. This merger is a significant step toward achieving our ultimate goal which is to accelerate a retail-like transformation in healthcare by enabling our customers with a truly real-time 'open exchange' platform that supports a wide range of healthcare transactions.
